Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal/state/local regulations and recommend actionable policy solutions
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement government programs
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analysis tools
- Draft legislative briefs, executive summaries, and public reports
- Represent agency in stakeholder meetings with community leaders
- Monitor legislative developments and assess compliance implications

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy experience at federal/state/local level
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and legislative processes
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong writing skills with proven policy documentation track record
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience with NC state government operations preferred
