Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and advanced imaging technology
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections to detect prohibited items
- Operate security equipment and maintain accurate screening documentation
- Enforce TSA security protocols and respond to security incidents
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers during high-pressure situations
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel to ensure seamless security operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Successfully complete TSA training academy program
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills
