Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Operate advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo for prohibited items.
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct random bag checks and patrols to identify potential security threats or breaches.
- Protocol Adherence: Strictly adhere to all TSA directives, security protocols, and agency policies to ensure compliance.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with the traveling public, providing clear instructions and assistance.
- Threat Detection: Identify, isolate, and resolve security breaches or irregularities immediately and accurately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Legal Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check, medical examination, and drug screening.
- Physical Health: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical agility tests.
- Good Vision: Corrected or uncorrected vision that meets standard requirements.
- No Criminal Record: No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
