Responsibilities
- Perform thorough screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo to detect threats and prohibited items.
- Operate advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment to analyze security images accurately.
- Deliver world-class customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with passengers to explain procedures and resolve concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all TSA security directives, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderately heavy items.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, drug screening, and a rigorous background investigation.
- Ability to pass the TSA Transportation Security Officer pre-employment screening process.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a vision test and a physical agility test.
