Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections per TSA protocols
- Identify and report prohibited items or suspicious activities
- Operate advanced security technology and maintain equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to diverse travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Pass background check, drug test, and security clearance
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift 50+ pounds
- Flexible availability for nights/weekends/holidays
- Basic computer literacy
- No felony convictions (with limited exceptions)
