Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray technology and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections as required
- Monitor security checkpoints and enforce TSA regulations
- Respond to security incidents and suspicious behavior
- Operate advanced screening equipment and detection systems
- Document security activities and maintain accurate records
- Provide customer service and assist travelers with screening procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
