Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints and enforce TSA regulations with professionalism
- Operate advanced security technology including EDS and trace detection equipment
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers
- Maintain accurate security documentation and incident reports
- Participate in mandatory training programs to stay current on security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license (if applicable to role)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
