Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using advanced X-ray technology and manual search techniques
- Enforce TSA regulations and security protocols with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Identify and report potential security threats through behavioral detection and anomaly recognition
- Operate complex screening equipment including walk-through metal detectors and baggage scanners
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers during the screening process
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and screening activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn technical systems
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
