Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced X-ray and metal detection equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and bag inspections as required
- Verify identification documents and boarding passes for all travelers
- Maintain strict security protocols while providing courteous customer service
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities accurately
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Operate TSA-approved technology and security systems efficiently
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Proficient in English (verbal and written communication)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office
- Customer service experience preferred
