Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection when necessary
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity
- Enforce TSA regulations and maintain checkpoint efficiency
- Operate advanced imaging technology and security equipment
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security protocols
- Document security incidents and operational reports accurately
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours)
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
