Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced detection equipment
- Identify and resolve potential security threats through X-ray analysis and physical pat-downs
- Enforce TSA regulations with professionalism and exceptional customer service
- Operate security technology including CT scanners, trace detection systems, and metal detectors
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security protocols
- Provide clear communication to travelers regarding security procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in English communication (verbal/written)
- No felony convictions or disqualifying employment history
