Responsibilities
- Operate and interpret X-ray screening equipment for carry-on and checked baggage
- Conduct physical screening of passengers using walk-through metal detectors and pat-down procedures
- Manage security checkpoints with strict adherence to TSA protocols
- Identify and report suspicious items or behaviors to supervisory personnel
- Maintain accurate documentation of screening activities and incidents
- Provide customer service assistance to travelers during security procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency and clear communication abilities
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
