Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on bags, and cargo using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection when necessary
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes against passenger manifests
- Maintain strict security protocols while providing professional customer service
- Operate advanced security technology and report suspicious activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents
- Complete daily security reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Successfully complete TSA Security Screening Training Program
