Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using advanced X-ray machines and detection equipment
- Conduct thorough physical pat-downs and bag inspections to identify prohibited items
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes for compliance with security regulations
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers while maintaining professional demeanor
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents

Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for operating security screening equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid government-issued photo ID and Social Security card
