Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced X-ray machines and detection equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and explosive trace detection procedures
- Monitor security checkpoints to detect suspicious items and prohibited materials
- Operate metal detectors and CT scanners while maintaining efficient passenger flow
- Enforce TSA regulations and provide clear instructions to travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. National status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass thorough background investigation and drug screening
- Successfully complete TSA training academy requirements
- Ability to work in high-stress environments with frequent standing/walking
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
