Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and manual inspection techniques
- Verify identification documents and boarding passes to ensure passenger authenticity
- Monitor security checkpoints and enforce TSA regulations with professionalism and courtesy
- Identify and report suspicious items, behaviors, or potential security threats
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status with required documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn security technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
