Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection procedures
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity alerts
- Operate advanced imaging technology and baggage handling systems
- Enforce TSA regulations and document security incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Maintain accurate screening logs and security reports
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends/holidays
- No felony convictions or recent misdemeanors
