Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct thorough physical searches and pat-downs as required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes against passenger manifests
- Identify prohibited items and security threats per TSA protocols
- Maintain accurate screening logs and incident reports
- Provide courteous customer service during security screening processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
