Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, baggage, cargo, and mail for prohibited items using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Patrol security checkpoints and monitor security operations to detect suspicious activities.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with federal laws.
- Assist travelers with inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure a smooth travel experience.
- Operate and maintain screening equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation, including a criminal history check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass the TSA fitness-for-duty examination.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred.
