Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo to detect prohibited items using X-ray machines and physical inspection.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols to ensure the safety of the airport environment and the traveling public.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting travelers with inquiries, directions, and security-related concerns.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and vigilance throughout your shift.
- Operate and troubleshoot screening equipment according to strict operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations during peak travel times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a TSA clearance.
- Good physical health, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent vision (corrected if necessary) and hearing capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
