Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and property using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Identify and isolate prohibited items to ensure the safety of the transportation system.
- Interact professionally with travelers while maintaining strict security protocols and procedures.
- Respond quickly and accurately to security alerts and emergency situations.
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized screening area in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- No felony convictions within the last seven (7) years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and medical examination.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities as required.
