Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo for prohibited items and threats.
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive trace detection equipment.
- Maintain a high level of physical readiness and perform pat-downs when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while enforcing security rules.
- Document all screening activities and incidents accurately.
- Collaborate with law enforcement partners to resolve security breaches.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a federal background check, medical examination, and drug screening.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
