Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray screening equipment and advanced imaging technology to detect prohibited items.
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and physical screenings of passengers.
- Enforce security policies and procedures in compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist travelers with security questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor security checkpoints and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
- Document incidents or irregularities immediately and accurately.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced airport environment to ensure passenger flow is efficient.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a federal background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Excellent vision and ability to distinguish colors.
