Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers and baggage using advanced X-ray technology and physical pat-downs.
- Identify and intercept prohibited items, weapons, and explosives to prevent them from boarding aircraft.
- Enforce TSA security regulations, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers, answering questions and assisting passengers with disabilities or special needs.
- Document all screening activities and incidents accurately in accordance with reporting requirements.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and readiness to respond to emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TSA Security Badge.
