Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo to detect prohibited items and threats.
- Operate advanced X-ray imaging technology and walk-through metal detectors with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform pat-down searches and physical inspections when necessary, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Interact with the public to provide clear instructions regarding security procedures and answer inquiries.
- Document security incidents accurately and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or policy violations immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all TSA regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or national, or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a rigorous background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Must meet medical standards regarding vision, hearing, and physical fitness for duty.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure in high-volume environments.
