Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo at airport checkpoints using X-ray machines and advanced imaging technology.
- Perform physical searches, pat-downs, and bag inspections to detect prohibited items and security threats.
- Monitor security monitors for anomalies and report suspicious activity immediately.
- Interact professionally with travelers while enforcing security regulations and procedures.
- Operate explosives trace detection equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure and efficient checkpoint environment.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, drug screen, and a federal background investigation.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- No disqualifying criminal offenses or history of drug abuse.
