Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Conduct physical screenings (pat-downs and bag searches) in a professional and respectful manner.
- Enforce security regulations and protocols to maintain a safe travel environment.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate action to mitigate security risks.
- Assist travelers with special needs or those requiring additional assistance during the screening process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations and high customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and fingerprinting process.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo a medical examination and drug screening.
