Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and physical screening equipment.
- Enforce security protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of the airport and traveling public.
- Identify and intercept prohibited items and potential threats immediately.
- Assist travelers with special needs and answer inquiries regarding security procedures professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient screening process.
- Complete all required training and maintain TSA certification standards.
- Document incidents and observations accurately in security logs.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, drug screen, and a comprehensive background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
