Responsibilities
- Screening Operations: Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and checked baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Security Enforcement: Enforce security regulations and procedures to prevent the boarding of unauthorized individuals and prohibited items onto aircraft.
- Passenger Assistance: Assist travelers with mobility issues or special needs, ensuring a respectful and efficient screening process for all.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all travelers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on screening equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Documentation: Accurately document screening results and complete required administrative reports.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a medical examination, including drug screening and a background investigation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
