Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage at security checkpoints
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Conduct physical pat-downs and baggage inspections as needed
- Identify and report prohibited items or suspicious behavior
- Maintain strict compliance with TSA protocols and security procedures
- Provide courteous assistance to travelers during screening processes
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or national status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
