Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items
- Operate X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches when necessary
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to alarms
- Document security incidents and maintain logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Fluent English communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
