Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and manual search techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints and enforce TSA protocols with professionalism
- Conduct pat-down searches and additional screenings when required
- Operate advanced detection equipment and identify suspicious items
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Provide clear instructions to passengers during screening processes
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergencies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory)
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations with composure
