Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage at security checkpoints using advanced scanning equipment
- Identify and prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and screenings
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security technologies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass TSA security assessment and medical evaluation
