Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage to ensure compliance with security regulations
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections as required
- Identify and report suspicious items or activities to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and daily activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Security Identification Credential (TSA Cred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
