Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints to detect prohibited items and suspicious behavior
- Operate advanced detection equipment and communicate effectively with travelers
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining professional customer service
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during security incidents
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in continuous security training and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends/holidays
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanor charges
- Valid U.S. driver's license (if required for shift assignments)
