Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to USPS driving regulations
- Collect mail from designated collection boxes and customer receptacles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Operate delivery scanners and handheld technology for tracking
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete daily route assignments in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and walk extended distances
- Pass pre-employment physical examination and background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld devices
