Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection when necessary
- Operate advanced imaging technology and identify potential threats
- Maintain security protocols for sterile and non-sterile areas
- Communicate effectively with travelers and airport staff
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Respond to emergency situations per TSA guidelines
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal residency status
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
