Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and manual inspection techniques
- Operate advanced security technology while maintaining strict compliance with TSA protocols
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches when necessary following established procedures
- Monitor airport checkpoints to detect and respond to security threats
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers during the screening process
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No visible tattoos on face or neck
