Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced X-ray technology and manual inspection techniques
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and implement TSA security protocols
- Monitor checkpoint activities to detect potential security threats
- Operate metal detectors, explosive trace detection systems, and other security equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and screening procedures

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA Security Screening badge
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn security technologies
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
