Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Monitor network traffic using SIEM tools (Splunk, AlienVault)
- Implement NIST 800-53 security controls
- Collaborate with cross-agency security teams
- Prepare classified security documentation
- Lead security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud security
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
