Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in redesigning veteran care workflows using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Oversee implementation of VA's EHR modernization initiatives (VistA) across clinical departments
- Develop data analytics frameworks to improve veteran health outcomes and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA directives, and federal healthcare regulations
- Manage vendor relationships for healthcare technology solutions and service contracts
- Conduct root cause analyses of systemic healthcare delivery bottlenecks
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during healthcare crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of federal healthcare systems management experience
- VA certification in Health Systems Management or equivalent DoD/VA training
- Expertise in VistA EHR implementation and optimization
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Demonstrated experience with VA's integrated network infrastructure
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Experience with veteran-centered care models and VA-specific regulations
