Responsibilities
- Manage federal infrastructure projects from conception to completion within budget and timeline constraints
- Coordinate cross-agency stakeholders and ensure compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS)
- Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and status reports for executive leadership
- Oversee vendor contracts, procurement processes, and budget allocations
- Implement agile methodologies to optimize project delivery and resource allocation
- Conduct regular compliance audits and ensure adherence to security protocols
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of project management experience with federal government contracts
- PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., CSM, CAPM)
- Demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance and federal procurement processes
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Jira, Primavera)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong analytical skills with experience in risk mitigation and resource optimization
- Excellent communication skills for executive-level reporting and stakeholder management
