Responsibilities
- Develop and implement municipal policies aligned with federal/state regulations
- Manage inter-agency coordination for public service projects
- Analyze budget allocations and grant compliance for city programs
- Oversee constituent engagement and public relations initiatives
- Ensure adherence to FOIA, ADA, and other compliance frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams on urban development projects
- Prepare reports for city council and state oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years government/public sector experience required
- Proficiency in municipal software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Public Sector)
- Strong knowledge of Illinois state regulations and federal guidelines
- Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Ability to obtain security clearance (if applicable)
