Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal, state, and local compliance standards for all city departments
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify potential violations
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for 500+ municipal employees
- Prepare detailed reports for City Council and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal counsel to update compliance policies
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging regulatory challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government compliance or regulatory experience
- Active Florida Notary Public commission
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., RSA Archer)
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance within 30 days
- Experience with municipal procurement processes
