Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based public health policies and community intervention programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate multi-agency responses to public health emergencies
- Lead community outreach initiatives on health equity and preventive care
- Manage grant funding and compliance reporting for federal/state programs
- Mentor junior staff and train public health volunteers
- Collaborate with policymakers on health legislation impact assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of Washington State public health regulations
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Valid Washington State driver's license
