Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming government documents and citizen inquiries with efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and archiving of public records and digital databases.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal government regulations, compliance protocols, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, operational workflows, and inter-departmental communication.
- Conduct research and compile detailed reports to support administrative decision-making and policy development.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Monitor office operations and assist in the implementation of new government software and systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the proven ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with government-specific databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status is required for government roles.
