Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Coordinate cross-departmental teams (Engineering, Finance, Public Works)
- Ensure strict compliance with federal/state procurement regulations
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Present progress reports to City Council and community stakeholders
- Lead contractor negotiations and vendor relationship management
- Implement sustainability best practices in all project phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years project management experience in government/municipal sector
- PMP certification or NC Municipal League certification required
- Proven track record with federal grant-funded projects
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of NC General Statutes Chapter 143
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
