Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance for federal government networks and hardware systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security protocols, and agency-specific policies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new software solutions and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system migrations and IT infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one (Top Secret preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related federal role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards such as FISMA, NIST, and DOD instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
