Responsibilities
- Manage incoming communications, emails, and coordinate internal schedules for department officials.
- Process and verify government documentation, permits, and official correspondence.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding city services, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems to ensure easy document retrieval.
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support the coordination of departmental meetings and community outreach events.
- Perform data entry and update departmental databases with current information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is preferred).
- Proven experience in administrative support, office management, or government operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
