Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the government office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with state regulations.
- Manage and maintain public records, including filing, archiving, and data entry with 100% accuracy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for citizens, handling inquiries regarding services, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate inter-departmental meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes and reports for senior leadership.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new government policies and internal guidelines.
- Conduct audits of departmental processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a government or administrative role.
- Strong understanding of Ohio state laws, government procedures, and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex policies to the public.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific software systems.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
